Oh, sorry, he was there yesterday and I can't find him to-day. Will this do instead. After all it is Hollywood, isn't it?

While it sounds like name dropping - have to admit to meeting the 'great' man himself once.
A neighbour (whose a marine engineer type) was commissioned to look after the yacht Tom and Nicole were on - and we tagged along with him for a peek.
Well Tom turned up with socks and sandals, gorky plaid shorts and a Hawaiian shirt that signalled desperation.
While the rest of the crew, entourage and associated hangers on (including us) mingled and got on famously - poor old Tom appeared a little buffled by the whole laid back Aussie demeanour and who cares who you are attitude - and found it hard to relate to anyone socially.
Yep . . . life experiences - Tom Cruise - tick.
