The first one was a bit of a guilty pleasure for me Holly, I'm not sure it's a particularly good film but it's visually interesting as all Del Toro films are and you have to admire the man's passion for everything!

I'm always liked Ron Perlman too and hoped for years that he'd get another big role where he wasn't in a 'disguise' of some sort. (He kind of scared and intrigued me in Beauty and the Beast all those years ago!!!)
